The hotel has a classic vibe but unfortunately felt muggy and congested during our 4-night stay, with a lingering scent reminiscent of a nursing home. The service is excellent with attentive staff and useful amenities offered. The location is very convenient, especially for those in town for specific purposes. However, the dining experience was tainted by false advertising and unwanted room guests. The overall stay had its highs and lows, catering to certain preferences and needs.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite being comfortable, had a lingering smell of old paint, and the cleanliness was lacking despite informing the staff of the issues. On the bright side, the service was outstanding, particularly when the desk clerks went above and beyond to ensure I had the best possible room after a booking error. The location was excellent for my needs, close to restaurants and convenient for my activities. However, the inconvenience of a new staff member causing confusion was a downside. The dining experience was adequate, though I wished for more variety beyond the basic continental breakfast. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
